Star hire and SDGs

~Various work styles and work styles to choose~

Star hire has a variety of work styles. In addition to regular work, we have introduced a flex system that makes it easy to work even for small children, and we have prepared work styles that are easy to work from women to the elderly. In addition, by providing full backups until obtaining the necessary qualifications and financial assistance before starting work, we are able to start working with peace of mind even in various situations.

Corresponding SDGs Goal Target

Target 8.8

Protect the rights of all workers, including migrant workers, especially women migrant workers and workers in precarious employment situations, and promote a safe and secure working environment.

Target 10.2
By 2030, promote empowerment and social, economic and political inclusion of all people regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic status or other circumstances.

Star Hire has introduced DiDi, a service that allows customers to hail a cab from a smartphone application.
By transmitting GPS information of the customer’s current location directly to the dispatch center, the driver will use that information to pick up the customer.
This IoT-based system enables efficient cab dispatch and service provision.
In addition, while cabs were conventionally hailed by phone, hearing-impaired users can now hail a cab with the simple operation of a smartphone.

Cabs run 24 hours a day, and each cab travels approximately 200 km per day, or 70,000 km per year.
They emit more greenhouse gases than ordinary vehicles, and their impact on the global environment is not small.
The “JPN TAXI” that we are now actively introducing is an LPG hybrid vehicle.
LPG hybrid vehicles are excellent for the urban environment (NOx, CO) and generate less CO2 (approximately -10% less than gasoline vehicles). The power output is not inferior to that of a gasoline vehicle, and it is a low-pollution vehicle that emits almost no PM (suspended particulate matter) and black smoke, which are scarier than CO2 emissions.

Corresponding SDGs Goal Target

Target 7.a.
By 2030, strengthen international cooperation to promote research and access to clean energy research and technologies, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and advanced, low environmental impact fossil fuel technologies, and promote investment in energy-related infrastructure and clean energy technologies.
